Pamela has joined Suffolk DBT this year as a second-year social work Master’s candidate from Columbia University in New York City. She graduated from Harvard in 2019 with a Master’s in Psychology and is currently working on her Ph.D. in Psychology from Walden University. She also holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Northwestern University.
While at Harvard, Pamela focused much of her studies on the pathogenesis of anxiety, the neuroscience underlying obsessive-compulsive disorder and is proud to have studied evidence-based treatments for anxiety under Harvard Medical School’s Dr. Sperling, head of the Anxiety Mastery Program at McLean Hospital in Massachusetts. Pamela is certified in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) and is trained in Exposure/Response Prevention (ERP) and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT). She has worked with clients ages six to 106, and she values working with a diverse population.
Pamela is delighted to be part of the Suffolk DBT team. She enjoys meeting each client and taking the time to discover their unique qualities and helping them reach their full potential.
