Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a structured, skills-based treatment that helps people manage overwhelming emotions, reduce impulsive or self-destructive behaviors, and improve relationships. It combines practical coping tools with supportive therapy so you can handle stress, communicate more effectively, and feel more in control of your reactions. DBT is especially helpful if you feel stuck in intense emotional patterns that haven’t improved with traditional talk therapy alone.
In our in-person DBT programs, clients participate in all core components of comprehensive DBT treatment.
Clients meet one-on-one with a therapist in person or Telehealth, allowing for immediate feedback, real-time connection, and hands-on practice of DBT skills. Clients will be utilizing diary cards, have skills coaching available between sessions
Learning DBT skills in an in-person group provides interaction, shared experiences, and supportive feedback you can’t get online. Our groups have homework and practice learning the skills in group and outside of group sessions.
DBT phone coaching is a core component of comprehensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). It is designed to help clients use DBT skills in real-life situations, at the moment they are most needed outside of therapy sessions.
Instead, it is a brief, skills-focused interaction that supports clients in applying what they are already learning in DBT.
DBT for adults focuses on building skills to manage intense emotions, improve relationships, and reduce patterns of emotional dysregulation.
Adolescent DBT supports teens who struggle with emotional reactivity, impulsivity, or difficulty coping with stress, often with family involvement.
DBT-C is adapted for younger children and emphasizes emotional regulation, behavior support, and active parent participation.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps individuals understand how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. It is especially effective for anxiety, depression, and unhelpful thinking patterns that keep people feeling stuck.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a structured therapy used to help people process traumatic memories and reduce the emotional impact of past experiences. It is commonly used for trauma, PTSD, and distressing life events.
Exposure therapy helps individuals gradually face fears, intrusive thoughts, and avoided situations in a safe and supported way. It is one of the most effective treatments for OCD and anxiety disorders.
