Nelida’s passion for working with children and adolescents stemmed from working with at-risk adolescents and families at a residential setting; it was there that she decided to further pursue her career in the mental health field. Since then, Nelida has worked with a mission and passion to help children, adolescents, adults, individuals, and families overcome life barriers in order to build healthy, successful lives and relationships and to become productive members of our society. Currently, she is motivated and committed to the application of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. She is actively enrolled in the foundational training offered by Behavioral Tech. Additionally, Nelida attends our weekly consultation team meetings.
